Crossroads Bait and Tackle Fish Report > Finally Some Tuna
Finally Some Tuna

Sep 12, 2013

The tuna are late but there is still plenty of time as far as they go. The bite was on yesterday out at the Outside Flag. Four commercial grade tuna were weighed in from out there. Not so coincidentally you can also jig up some herring out there as well, with big clouds of bait filling the screen of your fishfinder.

Stripers are still bighting in good numbers along the beach, and up in hampton harbor. Mackerel are being caught right out front in 60-80ft of water some days. Troll those up and down the beach for some good striper action.

I had more reports of black sea bass being caught, one guy got one right off the north jetty, while others are targetting them just past the MR buoy.

There is still plenty of fishing however if any of you do start thinking about winterization, shrink-wrap and boat storage then consider Crossroads. We give excellent prices on great service.

Also just a heads up we are now on fall hours
